Today:

Dry with long spells of sunshine and light winds. Very warm for most, though feeling fresher where sea breezes develop along the coast. Cloudier by the end of the afternoon with a chance of heavy, thundery showers in the west. Maximum temperature 24 °C.

Tonight:

Heavy, perhaps thundery showers moving east during the evening, clearing just after midnight to leave dry conditions and partly cloudy skies. Light winds. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Wednesday:

Dry, warm and sunny for much of the day with light winds. Cloud and showers arriving into the southwest by dusk; these showers turning thundery and torrential in places overnight. Maximum temperature 23 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Thursday will be mostly sunny and dry. A bright start Friday, showers or more persistent, heavier rain later. Dry, often sunny on Saturday. Rather warm, though cooler than of late.

Elsewhere, plenty of fine and dry weather, although there is a risk of some thicker cloud and showers, perhaps thundery, pushing into the far south and southwest at times. The changeable and unsettled weather is likely to continue into the start of the following week. More settled patterns and overall drier conditions probable towards the end of the month. Still some showers or longer spells of rain in places, but probably a reasonable amount of fine, dry weather. Temperatures looking to be near average for most throughout, although some warmer spells are possible at times, particularly in the east and southeast.
