UK long range weather forecast

Saturday is likely to be mostly cloudy, with some patchy rain and drizzle, especially for western upslopes. Some clear and sunny spells are possible to start, followed by a band of rain, locally heavy, approaching the southeast. Winds generally moderate, but locally strong in the north. Further into the period, more unsettled conditions are likely in the north and northwest, where longer spells of rain and strong winds are expected. The south is likely to see some drier spells, although some light rain or drizzle remain possible. Some overnight fog patches are possible in the south under clear skies. Winds varying from strong in the northwest to light in the southeast. Temperatures near normal or mild.

Updated:

This period is likely to be characterised by a continuation of changeable weather, with unsettled conditions more likely in the north. A longer spell of widely unsettled conditions is possible, bringing spells of wet and windy weather for all areas, with the wettest conditions remaining focused in the west. Temperatures generally around or slightly above average.
