The showers will continue, heavy at times, perhaps merging into the odd longer outbreak of rain. Chilly northwest winds, these strong around the coast and over the hills. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Tuesday:

Another chilly day with showers, the showers heaviest and most frequent during the morning with some drier and brighter spells developing in the afternoon. Strong northwest winds gradually easing. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Bright with sunny spells and scattered showers Wednesday and Thursday. Light winds and cold nights. Wet and windy weather expected to push in from the west on Friday.
