Mainly dry evening, with thickening cloud. A band of rain, with some heavier bursts, then moves southwards shortly after midnight, clearing southern parts around dawn. Clear intervals but also isolated heavy showers following. Winds also strengthening overnight. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Monday:

Sunny spells, with brisk, blustery winds. Most parts remaining dry, although scattered showers are likely, heavy at times across northern and eastern coasts. Feeling much colder than recent days. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Sunny spells and showers, locally heavy, on Tuesday. Cool and windy on the coast. Fewer showers on Wednesday and lighter winds. Sunshine and showers on Thursday, heavy and possibly thundery.
