A cloudy and damp start for many but clearing through the morning leaving a largely dry day with bright spells though perhaps the odd blustery shower further north. Staying fairly windy and feeling cooler in the breeze. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Tonight:

Fairly clear into the evening but perhaps a spot of cloud forming overnight. Staying windy, especially around coasts and across high ground. Touch of frost possible in sheltered spots. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Wednesday:

A bright and breezy day with a fair amount of cloud around. Winds slowly easing later. Staying mild but once again perhaps feeling a bit cooler in the breeze. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Staying windy Thursday and Friday with cloud and patchy rain at times both days. Staying rather cloudy again on Saturday with upslope patchy rain and drizzle possible. Mild throughout.

Some clear and sunny spells are possible to start, followed by a band of rain, locally heavy, approaching the southeast. Winds generally moderate, but locally strong in the north. The south is likely to see some drier spells, although some light rain or drizzle remain possible. Some overnight fog patches are possible in the south under clear skies. Winds varying from strong in the northwest to light in the southeast. Temperatures near normal or mild.
