A notably colder feeling day with brisk northwesterly winds. These will feed in plenty of showers to north and west Wales, with the best of the sunshine in the southeast. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Staying on the cool side through the middle part of the week, with occasional rain or showers, but also some clearer, drier interludes. Winds easing, with chilly nights likely.
