A notably colder feeling day with brisk northwesterly winds. These will feed in plenty of showers, especially for Staffordshire and Shropshire, but there will be some sunny spells too. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Staying on the cool side through the middle part of the week, with a mixture of sunny spells and showers. Winds easing down, with chilly nights likely.
