Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Some early light rain on Tuesday, drier later with some bright spells. Mainly dry Wednesday but with increasing winds, rain into the evening. Sunshine and showers on Thursday.

As a result, dry conditions and sunny spells are likely, with a risk of overnight fog patches in the southeast. Changeable weather conditions, with cloud and outbreaks of rain and drizzle are expected in north, with strong winds and a risk of gales possible in north and northwest. Temperatures overall will be rather mild in the north and northwest, but closer to average in the south.

Frontal systems bringing rain and strong winds are expected in the northwest, perhaps spreading further into the southeast at times, although much of the south and southeast may stay largely dry.
