A mix of clear spells and a risk of showers overnight, which could be wintry over hills. Light winds to start but turning breezier overnight. Feeling colder, especially in wind. Minimum temperature 3 °C.

Sunday:

A largely dry and bright day with perhaps the odd wintry shower in the afternoon. Breezy to start but winds easing. Feeling cooler than of late. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Frosty starts on Monday and Tuesday but largely dry and bright, until rain arrives later on Tuesday. Turning milder from midweek with a damp day on Wednesday and strengthening winds.

Becoming windy with a risk of gales for some western coasts. Remaining unsettled thought the start of April at first, with showers and longer spells of rain likely. Southern and eastern areas are likely to be drier, although a chance of showers or spells of rain remain likely here. Strong winds are probable, with a low risk of gales mainly across western parts. Into early April, more settled conditions and drier interludes become increasingly likely, although a chance of wetter weather tending toward the south. Temperatures are generally above average, though colder conditions remain possible in the far north and northeast at first.

However, most areas are likely to see some spells of dry weather, with potentially frost and some fog overnight. The chance of strong winds is likely near to normal, with temperatures generally close to average for the time of year.
