Sunny spells to end the day, although more cloud is expected to move into the region later bringing some drizzle across the Lake District. Elsewhere there will be some clear spells, allowing for some mist and fog patches to develop. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Monday:

It will be mostly dry on Monday with sunny spells, particularly during the morning. High level cloud will gradually increase during the afternoon as winds begin to strengthen. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Becoming windy on Tuesday with patchy light rain. Wednesday starting with heavy rain, this clearing with brighter conditions following, remaining very windy. A day of sunshine and showers on Thursday.
