A dry, bright start but cloud thickening from west with rain extending northeast from mid morning. Some heavy bursts in places. Becoming breezy, especially over Kintyre and the Isles. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Tonight:

It wil;l be a cloudy evening and night with outbreaks of rain. Much of this will be light but a few heavier outbreaks are likely. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Friday:

Cloudy start with showery rain.. Brightening up with sunny intervals and a few heavy showers in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

The weekend unsettled with showers, some heavy with the chance of thunder, but some sunshine around too. Probably fewer showers around by Monday.

At first, the weather across the UK is likely to continue to be a mixture of sunny spells and scattered showers, with some longer spells of rain also possible. Some showers are expected to be heavy and could be thundery at times. Temperatures will generally be around or a little below normal for mid-June, and it may well be breezy in places too.
