Windy with frequent and blustery showers, these heavy at times bringing hail and thunder. Snow on hills. West to northwesterly gales at times along exposed coast. Maximum temperature 6 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Very windy start on Wednesday with showers. turning less windy and drier in the afternoon. Rain at first and again later on Thursday, heavy across West Highland. Mainly dry Friday.
