Highlands & Eilean Siar weather forecast
Headline:
Dry with warm sunshine developing. Haar retreating to coastal areas.
Today:
Haar and low cloud burning back to northern and eastern coasts where it may linger in places. Otherwise a fine dry day with plenty of sunshine and becoming warm or even very warm. Light winds. Maximum temperature 24 °C.
Tonight:
Dry with clear periods over the west Highlands. Haar will continue to affect some coastal areas, edging further inland during the night. Minimum temperature 10 °C.
Sunday:
Another mostly dry day with sunny spells developing. Mist and low cloud will retreat back to coastal areas. Not as warm as Saturday with a freshening northerly breeze. Maximum temperature 19 °C.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:
Much cooler on Monday with sunshine and a few showers. Heavier rain at first on Tuesday, followed by strong northwest winds, bright spells and blustery showers, continuing on Wednesday.
