Today:

After the clearance of any mist or fog patches it will be mostly dry on Monday with sunny spells, particularly during the morning. High level cloud will gradually increase during the afternoon as winds strengthen later in the day. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Tonight:

Dry for much of the night with occasional clear intervals. However, cloud will increase robustly during the early hours of Tuesday with outbreaks of rain reaching west Wales by dawn. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

Tuesday:

Windy on Tuesday morning as a band of rain arrives, giving some heavy bursts in places. Further outbreaks of rain developing during the afternoon, heaviest over some of the hills. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Very windy with coastal gales on Wednesday. Heavy rain pushes quickly south, with sunny spells and blustery showers following. Sunshine and blustery showers on Thursday and Friday too. Generally mild.

Some areas in the southeast may remain dry, while the heaviest and most frequent showers persist in the west and northwest.
