There will be a chance of some rain affecting the very far south of Wales during the morning, otherwise it will be a largely dry day with sunny spells. Feeling a little warmer than Saturday with lighter winds. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Tonight:

Scattered amounts of cloud on Sunday evening will give way to lengthy clear spells overnight, with perhaps some localised mist and fog patches developing in places by dawn. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Monday:

It will be mostly dry on Monday with sunny spells, particularly during the morning. High level cloud will gradually increase during the afternoon as winds strengthen later in the day. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Becoming windy on Tuesday with rain at times. Wednesday probably starting with heavy rain, this clearing with drier and brighter conditions following. A day of sunshine and showers on Thursday.

A north/south split in weather conditions is likely over the latter part of next week, with rain and showers affecting the north, while the south holds on to drier weather. It may be windy at times, especially across the north and northwest, where gales are possible. Temperatures close to normal in the north and feeling rather mild in the south. Unsettled weather continues for many into the following week, with showers in northern areas likely to spread southwards. High pressure may develop across the UK throughout the rest of the period, with occasional frontal systems bringing some periods of rain. However, towards the end of the period, deep lower pressure is expected. Temperatures generally returning to above normal, however, cooler nights could make way for potential mist and fog.

This lower pressure regime is likely to bring periods of rain across the UK, but some drier spells and potential mist and fog can be expected too, most likely at the beginning of the period. Temperatures likely to remain above normal throughout.
