Any daytime showers fading this evening to leave a largely dry night, with long clear periods. It will be a breezy night, with temperatures holding up for many. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Sunday:

A largely dry and bright start, although a few scattered showers are likely to develop into the afternoon, these mainly in the west. Breezy, but feeling warm in the sunshine. Maximum temperature 24 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Sunny spells and scattered showers on Monday. Fine and dry, with sunny spells on Tuesday and Wednesday, with light winds. Feeling warm in the sunshine.

Sunny spells for many with a few showers at the end of June and beginning of July, there is a low risk of heavy, and possibly thundery showers associated with these in the south and east of the UK. Winds are expected to be moderate or strong at times, especially in the northwest and near heavy showers. The unsettled conditions are likely to be confined to the north of the country through the later part of the period, perhaps bringing longer spells of rain to these areas. Southern areas likely staying drier, although with the risk of showers remaining. Temperatures are expected to be near normal, locally warm in parts of the east and southeast.

There is a good chance of more settled conditions prevailing through the middle and later part of July, although some northern areas may see spells of rain or showers at times, especially early in the period. These spells could extend across the country at times, but in general the south will see the best of the settled conditions. Temperatures are likely to be close to or a little above average initially but trending towards warmer conditions later, especially across the south.
