A colder start than of late with a frost in many places. Otherwise a fine day with light winds and plenty of sunshine. Temperatures rising to around average for February. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Tonight:

Mostly clear skies continuing through this evening and overnight. This will allow temperatures to fall below freezing for many with a frost developing. Isolated fog patches forming by the morning. Minimum temperature -3 °C.

Monday:

Mist and fog generally clearing during the morning leaving another dry and bright day with plenty of sunshine in most places. Winds staying light and temperatures around average for February. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Staying generally dry with occasional sunny periods. Cloudier at times, perhaps with a few spots of rain, most likely on Tuesday. Overnight frosts and some fog, especially in the south.

Temperatures overall will be rather mild in the north and northwest, but closer to average in the south.

Frontal systems bringing rain and strong winds are expected in the northwest, perhaps spreading further into the southeast at times, although much of the south and southeast may stay largely dry.
